These terms govern your use of Convert Run. By creating an account you agree to them. If you are using a deployment operated by someone else, their terms apply in addition to these.
1. What the service is
Convert Run produces short-form video from text or web pages using AI providers you connect, and automates replies to comments and messages on social accounts you connect. It is a tool operated by you, acting on your own accounts and your own provider subscriptions.
2. Your account
- You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure.
- You must be at least 18, or the age of majority where you live.
- One person or organisation per account; do not share access with people who should not see your data.
3. Provider keys and costs
You connect your own API keys. Every generation, upload and message is billed by that provider directly to you. Convert Run does not resell provider capacity, does not add a margin, and cannot refund provider charges. Cost estimates shown before a run are estimates, not quotes.
4. Platform rules come first
When you connect Instagram, YouTube or any other platform, that platform's terms and developer policies apply to everything you do through it. In particular:
- Automated messaging must stay within the platform's documented mechanisms and limits. Convert Run enforces the ones it knows about; you remain responsible for how you use them.
- You must hold your own approved developer application where the platform requires one.
- You may not use the service to send unsolicited bulk messages, to impersonate anyone, or to evade a platform's rate limits or moderation.
We may suspend an account that we reasonably believe is being used to violate a platform's rules, because that behaviour puts other users' integrations at risk.
5. Acceptable use
You may not use Convert Run to produce or distribute:
- Content that infringes someone else's copyright, trademark or likeness rights.
- Advertising claims you cannot substantiate — including invented prices, discounts, certifications or health effects.
- Material that is unlawful, harassing, deceptive, or that sexualises minors.
- Content impersonating a real person or organisation.
The software includes checks that reject generated copy containing claims your source text does not support. These are safeguards, not a legal review. The responsibility for what you publish is yours.
6. Content ownership
You own the scripts you write, the media you upload and the videos the pipeline produces for you, subject to the terms of the AI providers that generated any part of them. Convert Run claims no licence over your content beyond what is needed to store and process it on your instruction.
Stock media retrieved from third-party sources remains subject to that source's licence. Check it before commercial use.
7. AI output
Generated scripts, captions, images and video are produced by third-party models and can be wrong, biased or unsuitable. Review output before publishing. Convert Run makes no warranty that generated content is accurate, original, or fit for any particular purpose.
8. Availability
The service depends on third-party APIs that change, rate-limit and fail. No uptime is guaranteed. Long-running jobs may fail partway; the system is designed to preserve completed work and let you retry, but no result is guaranteed.
9. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the service and delete your data at any time. The operator may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms, that create legal risk, or that jeopardise the deployment's platform integrations.
10. Liability
The service is provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for lost profits, lost data, provider charges, platform account restrictions, or any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the service.
11. Changes
These terms may change. Material changes will be reflected here with a new date. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept it.
